Submitted works must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in another journal.

Since files must be anonymous during the initial submission, authors’ names must be removed from the manuscript file to ensure a blind peer review of the manuscript. Convert your article into a PDF with all tables and figures. Only after the article has been accepted for publication will the first page of the final submission also include the authors’ names, affiliated institutions, city and country, and email addresses. Multiple affiliations should be marked with superscript Arabic numerals, with each one starting on a new line.

Articles must be written in flawless American English or Spanish by no more than four (4) authors. Articles in French, Portuguese (Brazil), and Italian will also be accepted.

Authors agree to format their texts in accordance with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements set forth in these guidelines.

Please keep the following guidelines in mind when preparing your manuscript.

Title. Centered and in bold, using 12-point Times New Roman font. Capitalize the first letter of each main word.

Subheadings. Left-aligned and in bold, using 12-point Times New Roman font.

Main body of the text. Justified, single-spaced, and in 11-point Times New Roman font.

Margins. 3 cm (left and right), 2.5 cm (top and bottom).

Abstract

The abstract should not exceed 250 words and should summarize the main arguments and conclusions of the article. A list of up to five keywords should appear below. The abstract must be submitted in both English and Spanish, with the title appearing at the beginning of each versions.

Full Article

The file must be in Microsoft Word or RTF format. This applies to both research articles (on the results and application of unpublished and original research) and review articles (on the state of the art in a specific subdiscipline or topic). The minimum length is 12 pages, and the maximum is 25, including the abstract, notes, illustrations, and bibliographic references.

All illustrations must be clear and legible. Tables must be created using a word processor. Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and referenced in the text, as their final placement may differ from the order in which you arranged them in the manuscript.

Footnotes (not endnotes) should appear at the bottom of each page. Footnote markers must be inserted after the final punctuation using the footnote function. Use footnotes only to convey crucial clarifying information and not for referencing or citing. Include citations in the main text. All references must be relevant to the work and placed at the end of the main text.

Appendices must be mentioned in the text and placed before the references. Citations and references must follow the style of the American Psychological Association (APA) style. Hanging indents will be used to list bibliographic references.

Reviews

For reviews, the minimum length is 6 pages, and the maximum is 12, following the same formatting instructions as other articles.
