Developing argumentation certainly represents one of the major challenges in the teaching-and-learning-a-language process. Language teachers do frequently use in the classroom learning guides and handbooks to make it easier for students to learn a language. Still, these guides and handbooks do not contribute to stimulating the critical reflection, which is inherent to argumentation. Thus, we will analyze a corpus of words, phrases or statements which we collected from Twitter and Facebook. We believe that social media such as these clearly reflect how users think and feel about a myriad of topics. And we also believe that the way and the simplicity with which social media users express their opinions and sentiments are a useful resource for teaching purposes since students find them easier to understand. Thus, in this work we intend to make a sentiment analysis of the texts written by Marco Denevi. Marco Denevi is an Argentine novelist and short-story writer whose literature uses an extensive and varied use of adjectives which in many cases synthesize an argumentative expression. In this work, we take the adjective as a first step in the development of the argumentative reflection in order to devise the many contributions which they can make in the process of teaching a language. We will use Max Silberztein’s NooJ platform to analyze Marco Denevi’s use of adjectives together with our dictionaries and inflectional grammars to develop a syntactic grammar to generate and extract linguistic expressions in Spanish.
